A decent show
I was pleasantly surprised to see Jenny Lewis onstage, as active and involved as she was. The show didn't really take off for me, though -- Ben Gibbard and company didn't stray much from the studio versions of the songs, so there were few surprises other than Ms. Lewis's involvement. The overall volume of the set was a little low, which helped to keep the crowd pretty stationary throughout. The Army, The Navy gave us just enough reason to move, but little to compel everyone to dance all night long.
Their original songs are great, and I like their sound, so it was a fun night. Still, I doubt too many people in attendance were blown away by anything they heard.
